Large alligator captured in Miami after eating resident's pets

ORLANDO, Fla. (Fox 35 WOFL) - A large alligator in Southwest-Miami Dade canal was caught after it was found eating the pets of the residents living near the canal. 

It was discovered by a tree trimming company.

Residents in this community say this is not an unfamiliar site.
