Lake Co. man bitten by gator
MONTEVERDE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Lake County Sheriff's Office says a man is recovering after being bitten by an alligator.
It happened on Apopka Springs Boulevard in Monteverde.
Deputies say the man was gator hunting and thought one alligator was dead.
When he reached toward it, deputies say, it bit him in the hand.
