Deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office say the two people who were found dead in a Kissimmee home over the weekend were murdered.  Investigators are trying to track down a killer.

“Forensic evidence and information received by detectives has shown we are looking at a double homicide at this time,” said Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Major Jacob Ruiz.

Investigators have been on the scene for two days. They were first called to the home Saturday night at around 7 p.m.

“Our deputies responded to an attempt to contact to check the wellbeing of people inside this residence,” Ruiz said.

People who live on Meadow Oak Circle say soon after, their street was packed with cop cars. They say deputies were going door to door asking if anyone heard gunshots.  But investigators won’t reveal how the two died or who they are.

Neighbors say an elderly couple lives in the home and that the two are known for working outside on their garden.

“All the time smiling whenever you see them. Asking you, ‘How are you doing, how was work,’ and all that stuff. Those are the nicest people you could have next door,” said one neighbor, who didn’t want to share his name.

Deputies say they believe this is an isolated incident.
