The discovery came after Palm Bay police executed a search warrant at a residence on Turk Road in connection with the same case. During that search, officers took George Mancilla, 51, into custody on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. Authorities said the paraphernalia was found inside the home.

What we don't know:

The remains have not been identified, and investigators have not confirmed whether they are connected to the missing person investigation.
