Home burglary suspect appears in court, one other still wanted

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A home burglarly suspect appeared before a Seminole County judge on Sunday. 

Dequan Jones is accused of breaking into a house and leading police on a chase through several neighborhoods after a home invasion robbery in Altamonte Springs.

The homeowner told police that when he pulled into his driveway, he saw a car parked outside and his front door open. He then watched two men run out of his house, one aiming a shotgun at him. The homeowner fired his gun in response.

Investigators are still searching for a second suspect, Daquon Atkins. A third person was arrested but later released.
