Former Disney World employee on bond for taking video up woman's dress arrested again

A former Walt Disney World employee who was out on bond after being arrested for taking a video up a guest's dress two months ago has been arrested again.

Osceola County deputies say 26-year-old Jorge Diaz-Vega Jr. committed the same crime again, this time at a Publix near Pleasant Hill Road and Bellalago Drive.

"I never would think that [could happen here], especially at Publix," customer Ariel said. "Maybe in the club or downtown, but not here."

According to court documents, the incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. Monday. A shopper caught Diaz-Vega taking video under his wife's dress and then, moments later, he saw him do it again to another woman.

When confronted, the husband recalls Diaz-Vega saying: "I have been fired for this before. Please don't call the police. I promise I will delete the pictures."

"I don't know why he thought that was going to work. That's actually very stupid," Ariel said.

After the shopper confiscated the phone from Diaz-Vega, he ran from the store. Deputies eventually caught up with him at his home where he was placed under arrest and later charged with video voyeurism.

Diaz-Vega faced that same charge on March 31 when Orange County deputies say he stuck a phone up a guest's dress while working at Disney World's Hollywood Studios.

During that arrest, he admitted to having over 500 videos on his phone that he took over the six years he worked there. He called it his "guilty pleasure," according to court documents.

A judge has ordered Diaz-Vega to stay away from every Publix. As of Thursday evening, he remained in the Osceola County jail on a $5,000 bond.
