Florida teacher helping with mass meditation in India

MIAMI (AP) — A South Florida meditation teacher is helping to lead a mass meditation in India where more than 3 million people from all around the world are expected to meditate in unison.

Ronnie Newman is working with the Art of Living Foundation for the annual meditation festival in India. The event started Friday and will run through Sunday. The group estimates 3.5 million people from 155 countries will meditate in unison.

Organizers say it may be the largest group meditation in the world.
