Florida Missing Child Alert canceled after two Fort Myers teens found safe

Florida law enforcement officials have canceled a statewide missing child alert for two teens from the Fort Myers area after both were found safe.

The Florida Missing Child Alert was issued the morning of Thursday, March 31 for the 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl, who had last been seen Saturday, March 26.

After days of searching, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said both teens were found safe. The alert was canceled just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4.
