Fatal accident involving motorcycle in Sumter County

WILDWOOD, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle on State Route 44 at County Road 229, that's just east of I-75 in Wildwood.

One person was killed and one person was seriously injured.

There's no word yet on a cause of the accident.
