Eagle trapped in storm drain receiving treatment

MAITLAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The fight to save an injured bald eagle continues at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland.

An eagle was injured in a fight with another eagle and became trapped in a storm drain along Goldenrod Road near Curry Ford Road.  Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were able to captured the bird for treatment.  Now, that eagle's health has taken a turn for the worse after it was discovered that the bird may have suffered a fractured spinal column.
