Disney World rolls out tickets for park entry after 2 p.m.

Disney World is selling specially-priced tickets that allow visitors access to its theme parks in the afternoon.

The new "After 2 p.m." ticket is valid for entry to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom.

What is the After 2 p.m. ticket?

The tickets are only valid for admission to one theme park after 2 p.m. each day.

The tickets are date-based and valid for park entry starting May 26 through July 29.

How much do the After 2 p.m. tickets cost?

Prices vary depending on the date. The tickets are available in two-day and three-day options.

The two-day ticket starts at $235 and can cost as much as $315.81, according to the Disney World website. The three-day ticket ranges between $346.44 and $462.50.

Disney World said theme park reservations are not required for this ticket.

The two-day ticket must be used within four days of its start date, while the three-day ticket must be used within five, according to Disney.

Hotel discounts for Disney+ subscribers

Disney World has also rolled out hotel discounts to Disney+ subscribers, who are enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program.

Subscribers can get special rates at select Disney World resort hotels such as Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and more.

The special rates will be available starting April 2 for stays between June 21 and Aug. 15.

Big summer ahead

The deals come as Disney World prepares for a big summer filled with new experiences and the reopening of revamped attractions.

A new Bluey experience opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom on May 26.

That same day, Disney will debut the new Soarin' Across America at Epcot and a new Disney Jr show with Mickey and friends at Hollywood Studios.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is set to open this summer, but an official date has not yet been announced.
