Deputies search for victim, person of interest in shooting investigation
DELAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in DeLand.
Deputies say it happened on Margaret Street at around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials say the victim and person of interest in the investigation are both missing.
The shooting victim has been identified as Carlos Manzanares, 44.
Detectives say he was not at the scene when deputies arrived.
Deputies say they identified and interviewed one person of interest in the case.
They say he is Reinaldo Martinez, 69.
But another person of interest, Reinaldo Martinez Jr., 45, has not been located.
Detectives say he might be in the New Smyrna Beach area.
