Deputies say YouTube video helps solve crime

Deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office say a man fired a gun inside Coco's Night Club in Daytona Beach on July 22.  A 24-year-old woman was shot in the left thigh, but she survived.

The hunt for the shooter began.  The next day, deputies found a YouTube video of the party at Coco's and determined that the alleged shooter wearing a flamingo print shirt.  It didn't take them long to figure out the identity of the alleged shooter.  Deputies say it's Shantonio Kemp.

Other police agencies across Central Florida were told to be on the lookout for Kemp.  This week, deputies received the call they were hoping for, that Kemp was spotted and arrested in Palatka.

This time, deputies say he was not wearing a flamingo shirt.
