Deputies investigating homicide at Kissimmee motel

KISSIMMEE, FL. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Osceola County Deputies are calling a death at a Kissimmee motel a homicide.

Deputies responded to a suspicious death at the Star Motel at Lakeside off of Highway 192 East shortly after 1 PM Saturday.

Forensic teams investigated an area outside a room on the second floor of the motel, and blocked it off with a curtain. One motel resident described the scene as chaotic. “I just heard a lot of screaming,” he said. “I saw from one second to the next, a lot of police coming.”

According to deputies, one victim was killed. It was unclear how. Deputies called the incident isolated.

This is an active investigation.
