Deputies investigate Deltona gas station robbery

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says that they are investigating the robbery of a Deltona gas station.

They say the robbery occurred at 3:55 a.m. on Saturday at the Cumberland Farms station on Providence BLVD. The suspect was described as a black male, standing between 5'8" to 5'10" and weighing about 170 to 180 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a black shirt, black jacket, and red sweatpants. A white shirt was covering most of his face.

No one was injured in the robbery, but the suspect did shove two employees behind the counter. The Sheriff's Office says that he made movements suggesting that he had a weapon before he took cash from the register and left.
