Deputies investigate after body found in East Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death in an East Orlando-area neighborhood.

Deputies responded to a residence in the 5400 block of Barton Dr. just before 6 p.m. on Thursday for a missing person call. However, when they arrived, the deputies discovered a Hispanic man inside the home, dead "from unknown trauma."

The neighborhood is near Lake Burton and northwest of the intersection of E. Colonial Drive and N. Semoran Blvd.  No other details were immediately released. Check back for updates.
