Deputies: Father shot son in chest
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Volusia County father is behind bars after deputies say he shot his son in the chest during an argument.
The shooting happened at a home on Holly Boulevard, just west of DeLand.
Deputies say Grady Edmondson, 58, and his son Grady Edmondson, Jr., 34, were arguing over Edmondson, Jr.'s mother.
Deputies say Edmondson confessed to shooting his son after the two chest-bumped during the argument.
The victim wasn't armed.
He's listed in critical condition at the hospital.
