Deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Nov. 24
If you need help from FEMA after Hurricane Irma, you have a little bit longer to register.
The new deadline is November 24 to apply for individual assistance in Florida.
That includes money for rent, home repairs and personal property losses that your insurance does not cover.
