Daytona Beach man keeping money he claimed was for church

Daytona Beach Police put out a warning on Monday for residents to watch out for man they say was collecting money and keeping the cash.

Police released surveillance video of the man, who claims to be from Calvary Christian Church in Ormond Beach. They said he used a fake flier to collect funds for a children's program at the church, but records show he never handed any of it over.

According to police, the suspect targeted businesses on Mason Avenue in Daytona beach. Officers say they recognized the man for using the same scheme two years ago.
