Person airlifted to hospital after rollover crash on Florida's Turnpike in Orange County

One person was airlifted to a hospital after a rollover crash shutdown part of Florida's Turnpike in Orange County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the southbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike near Winter Garden. According to FHP, three vehicles were involved, including a 2005 Toyota Tundra hauling a trailer, a sedan and a tractor-trailer.

A person in the sedan was entrapped and was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment.

All southbound lanes were closed while crews cleared the crash, but the roadway has since reopened.

It's unclear what caused the crash.
