Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida offers shelter tonight as temps drop

The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida says that that Tuesday has been declared a"cold night," as temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s overnight. The Coalition will provide shelter, regardless of space.

The Coalition is located at 18 North Terry Avenue in downtown Orlando.

Starting at 7 p.m., they say that overflow space will be available for single women and families in the Center for Women and Families and for single men in the Men's Service Center.

Monetary donations can be made online. Blankets and men's jackets are also needed and can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center for Women and Families.

Volunteer opportunities are also available both Tuesday and Wednesday night to assist the Coalition in accommodating the additional guests. Sign up online.
