Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida declares Sunday a 'Cold Night'
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida says that due to forecasted low temperatures, they have declared Sunday as a 'Cold Night.' With this said, they will not refuse any person seeking shelter from the cold, regardless of space.
Overflow space at the Coalition will be available starting at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Single women and families will go to the Center for Women and Families, while single men will go to the Men's Service Center.
The Coalition is located at 18 North Terry Avenue in downtown Orlando.
Monetary donatations can be made to the Coalition on their website. Men's socks and underwear are also needed and can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center for Women and Families.
