Closure at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport pushed back to Monday

The planned closure of Orlando Melbourne International Airport's terminal has been pushed to noon on Monday, Sept. 2. 

Airport officials continue to monitor Hurricane Dorian and are working with the airlines to continue commercial operations until weather no longer permits safe operations.

On Monday morning, American Airlines and Delta decided to suspend operations early until further notice.

 

 

Meanwhile, Orlando, Sanford, and Daytona Beach's airports have also updated their plans. Orlando International Airport will continue normal operations on Monday.  Orlando Sanford International Airport will stay close at 11 p.m. Monday. Daytona Beach International Airport will close at 6 p.m. on Monday.
