Christmas at Gaylord Palms to feature new experiences, including ICE! 'A Christmas Story'
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Gaylord Palms Resort announced on Wednesday that they will once again transform into a Christmas wonderland for the holiday season with brand new experiences along with familiar guest favorites, providing 'Everything Christmas in One Extraordinary Place' for the 52-day event.
They went on to say that the resort's signature experience ICE! will feature, for the first time ever, the beloved holiday film 'A Christmas Story,' recreated as a frozen, immersive attraction. The family tale will come to life through hand-carved ice sculptures and displays, inviting guests to relive the film's most iconic scenes.
There will be several other new experiences at Christmas at Gaylord Palms. One of those is a dazzling light show, Dreams of Christmas, which will feature a new musical score and dancing lights. Also new, will be the The Elf on the Shelf® Character Breakfast, the Alpine Village Sweet Shop, the Secret Santa Scavenger Hunt, and the Naughty or Nice Escape Room.
Several experiences are returning to Christmas at Gaylord Palms this year, though. Those include the Sounds of the Season Concert Series, Cirque Dreams Unwrapped, the Christmas Tree Trail, the interactive Reindeer Express Post Office, the always-festive Alpine Village, the Gingerbread Decorating Corner, Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions, Santa’s Snow Throw, and Snow Tubing.
