Body found near OIA linked to Kissimmee home invasion, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Authorities have identified a man found deceased on the side of a road near Orlando International Airport as a person reported kidnapping during an armed home invasion in Kissimmee.

Victor Manuel Delgado Rivera, 22, was abducted from a home at 1801 Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee around 1 a.m. on Wednesday.  His body was discovered about an hour later by a passer-by, in the area of Andros Place and Avenue C in Orlando.

Detectives are looking for a year 2000 light-brown Ford Aerostar minivan, spotted at the scene of the home invasion.  The Orlando and Kissimmee police departments are working together on this case. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
