Barricaded man dies after standoff at Kissimmee home

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Osceola County deputies say a man is dead, after barricading himself inside a Kissimmee home on Tuesday.

It happened on Cinder Lane.

Deputies say the man had a gun and was threatening to commit suicide.

Negotiators were called in, but deputies say, at one point, the man pointed a gun at them and they opened fire.

Investigators say the man was taken the hospital, where he died.

No one else was hurt.
