Arrest made in shooting of Cocoa teen

A 16-year-old boy is in custody facing an attempted murder charge for a shooting in Cocoa on Tuesday evening, authorities say.  The teenager was arrested Wednesday morning at his home in Rockledge.

Investigators said witnesses told responding police officers that the suspect shot the victim multiple times at Anderson Park, 501 N. Fiske Blvd. at around 7:30 p.m.

The victim is a 14-year-old boy who is expected to survive.  He was shot multiple times and is listed in stable condition at the hospital.
