Apopka police investigate reports of shots fired in neighborhood

APOPKA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Reports of shots fired early Sunday morning are being investigated by Apopka police.

Police officers were out on East Mason Avenue in Apopka Sunday morning after someone called 911 reporting gunshots.

Crime scene investigators combed the area, placing evidence markers, while detectives spoke with neighbors.

No injuries were reported in the area.

The investigation has been turned over to the Orlando Police Department.
