Alleged sexual contact involving teenager, crew member investigated aboard Carnival ship

Carnival Cruise Lines is investigating a report of an alleged sexual contact between a male teenager and a crew member aboard the Carnival Valor.

The ship’s home port is Port Canaveral.

Carnival provided Fox 35 a statement, which reads in part: 

“Law enforcement authorities, including the FBI and Brevard County Sheriff's Department, were immediately notified, while full support and assistance was provided to the guest. We extend our appreciation to both federal and local law enforcement agencies for their support and are continuing to provide Care Team assistance to the alleged victim.”
