7-year-old boy hit by bullet fired into Jacksonville home
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A 7-year-old Jacksonville boy is recovering from a gunshot wound after a bullet was fired into his home.
The Florida Times-Union reports that neighbors heard several gunshots Sunday morning and an upstairs bedroom window had a bullet hole. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the boy was taken to a hospital by a guardian.
WTLV spoke to the boy's family, who said he was grazed in the back and might need stitches, but was expected to recover.
