67 sexual offenders and predators arrested in 7-month operation out of Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested 67 noncompliant sexual predators and sexual offenders in a seven-month operation.
The operation, titled the 'Parking Lot Party' ran between January 31, 2019 until August 31, 2019.
During so, they said that proactive investigations were conducted to determine if 550 registered sexual offenders and predators in Osceola County had correctly reported their residency status, employment, email, social media accounts, campus activity, professional licenses, vehicles and vessels owned, and have reported travel information over 72 hours.
67 sexual offenders and predators were reportedly arrested for non-compliance. They were charged with the Failure to Register Violations.
The operation was conducted as a joint operation between the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, United States Marshals Service, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and State Probation and Parole.
