4 arrested in deadly Orange County home invasion
ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office has announced four arrests in a deadly home invasion that occured last month.
The four arrested are: Ashley Rhoda Joyce Dean-Webb, 20; Michael Salgado Soto, 27; Daquon Gathers, 23; and Taylor Massey, 22. They are each charged with first-degree felony murder, and burglary of dwelling with a battery in the death of 20-year-old Alexander Correa.
Deputies on Jan. 14. responded to 3933 Port Simbor Avenue in reference to a home invasion call. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Correa got into a struggle with the accused intruders. Deputies said Correa wounded one of his attackers with a knife before he was shot several times. He was later pronounced deceased at AdventHealth East Orlando.
Gathers was taken into custody early Tuesday. Dean-Webb is already in custody at the Broward County Jail. It was not immediatly where Massey and Soto were being held.
