1 killed in Seville small plane crash, 2 injured
SEVILLE, Fla. - One person is dead after a small plane crashed in Seville just before 2 p.m. Saturday.
Three people were on board when it crashed in the 600 block of Raulerson Road #1, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
The victims have been identified as:
Pilot Mark Michael Repanshek, 26, of Port Orange
Passenger Jarrett Bruckner, age 24, of Furlong, Pennsylvania
Passenger Jeffrey Luong, 27, of Port Orange (Deceased)
Rescuers had a difficult time reaching the scene due to the dense wooded area, according to Volusia County Fire Rescue officials.
A paramedic from a rescue helicopter found the crash and lowered their paramedic down to the plane, but the paramedic still had to walk to reach the scene.
