1 arrested in Orange Co. standoff

Orange County, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Some tense moments Sunday morning after a church and an apartment complex had to be evacuated because of a standoff with deputies.

Orange County deputies say the suspect was barricaded inside an apartment off Regent Park Drive for about five hours.

Deputies say the call came in as a domestic battery at around 7:30 a.m.

Luckily, the suspect's family was able to get out of the apartment, but the suspect refused to leave for hours.

As of Sunday night, deputies have not released the suspect's name.

No one was hurt.
