Torah scrolls saved from fire at Florida synagogue
A synagogue in Maitland is recovering after a weekend fire that damaged parts of the "Chabad of Greater Orlando." No one was inside at the time, but six Torah scrolls were present, including one more than 200 years old that survived the Holocaust. Firefighters used flashlights and thermal imaging cameras to locate the scrolls, all of which were saved. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
