Central Florida family advocating for EKGs for high school students

A Central Florida family says Damar Hamlin's collapse on the field during an NFL game due to sudden cardiac arrest really hit home for them. A few years ago, Lexi Sima was in high school when she went into sudden cardiac arrest during a routine workout. She survived, and together she and her father, Shawn Sima, got the Brevard County school board to require EKGs test for student-athletes.
