Florida's immigration lawsuit against the feds goes to trial

This week, the state of Florida will try to convince a judge that the Biden administration is breaking federal laws over "non-detention" policies that led to the release of undocumented immigrants. Attorney General Ashley Moody filed the lawsuit in 2021. Moody said the policies have brought undocumented immigrants to Florida, creating public safety problems and increase in costs for services like prison, healthcare and schools.
