Man accused of shooting, killing man in girlfriend's apartment
Jon Fuller, 31, is facing homicide charges after officials said he shot a man in his girlfriend's apartment after accusing his girlfriend of cheating on him. Fuller entered a not guilty plea on Dec. 2 and is being held without bond.
St. Port Lucie officer shot, in 'critical' condition
Sergeant Erik LeVasseur – who's been with the Port St. Lucie Police Department for 25 years – was shot on Dec. 1 when he responded to a disturbance call in the area of Tradition Parkway and Gatlin Boulevard. Sgt. LeVasseur was responding to a disturbance call when he was shot, the department said. He's currently in critical condition, authorities said.

Pizza box helps deputies bust wanted burglar

William Vargas-Carmona, 33, of Jacksonville was arrested after officials said he ransacked a home and stole around $2,500 and $3,000 in cash. Detectives found a pizza box in the home smeared with blood, which they said matched Vargas-Carmona's DNA.

Marion County firefighters accused of battery, released on bond
