Florida man has tie to last Cleveland Indians team to win World Series

WINTER PARK, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The long suffering fans of either the Chicago Cubs or Cleveland Indians will finally get to celebrate a World Series victory soon. The Cubs have not won it since 1905.

Cleveland last took baseball's biggest prize in 1948.  There is a strong local connection to that last Indians team to win it all. A Winter Park man saw it happen, in a way. He was just a toddler. But, his ties to the team run much deeper.  FOX 35'S Tom Johnson has his hall-of-fame story.
