
Zac Prudhomme
Zac Prudhomme moved to Central Florida and joined the FOX 35 team in December 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic editorial leadership and high-stakes content execution.
He grew up in South Louisiana and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Being from the Gulf Coast, he is no stranger to hurricanes, having participated in the coverage of several major storms, including Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He began his career in his home state as a Video Editor at KLFY, steadily working his way up through the industry before leading large news teams at KTNV in Las Vegas.
During his tenure at FOX 35 Orlando, Zac quickly progressed through the ranks, serving first as an Executive Producer, then Executive Producer of Special Projects, before being promoted to Assistant News Director.
He specializes in overseeing complex special projects and managing the daily news operations that drive audience engagement. Zac finds one of the best aspects of his job is the opportunities to connect with so many new people and tell their stories. Zac's commitment to impactful journalism has earned him three Emmy Awards for coverage across multiple markets.
When he's not in the newsroom, you can often find Zac enjoying Florida's beautiful beaches or exploring the area's zoos and animal attractions due to his deep love for animals. He also loves traveling with his husband, Joe, always looking for new adventures.
