Marley Capper joined the FOX 35 News team in September 2023 as a reporter.
Marley is originally from sunny southern California, and is now excited to be part of the Sunshine State. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in political science and broadcast journalism.
She started her career in Abilene, Texas as a political reporter and anchor where she covered state, local, and county wide government, including the 2020 presidential election. Her commitment to ethical journalism earned her a key to the city. She then moved to Champaign, Illinois, where she worked as the weekend anchor and lead nightside reporter at a TV station there.
In Illinois, Marley covered a Gold Star family after losing their father in the line of duty. She traveled to Washington, D.C for National Police week, and hosted 7 franchises and specials that impacted those communities. Marley has covered everything from breaking news and crime, to politics, local city government and education.
She hopes to earn your trust and can’t wait to tell your stories.
In her free time, Marley enjoys going to the beach, surfing, working out, and hanging out with friends. She’s a huge fan of Taylor Swift and TCU Football. She is an advisor with Delta Gamma and enjoys being involved at her church.
