Yoga studio shooter previously fired from Daytona Beach middle school

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - New details have been released on the man who opened fire at a Tallahassee yoga studio.

Volusia County school officials say that Scott Beirele taught at Galaxy Middle School in Deltona and Hinson Middle School in Daytona Beach. A parent whose daughters had Beirele as a teacher at Hinson reported him to the district last year. He was fired in May of this year because of misconduct involving a female student.

Beirele is accused of killing two people and hurting five others before killing himself.
