VIDEO: CHP rescues kids from burning car, adults scolded
MONTEREY, Calif. (FOX 11) - Caught on tape...some women and children are rescued by a CHP officer when their car caught fire in Monterey, but he wasn't too pleased with the women's lack of urgency.
Officer Kaleo Clissold happened to be driving behind this car on highway one when there was an explosion of smoke and flames under the hood.
The car got off the next exit but didn't immediately stop, until it pulled into this parking lot.
But only the front seat passenger got out, and there were a little girl and boy strapped into car seats in the back.
Luckily no one was seriously injured, and Cissold gave the children oxygen from a mask.
