Suspect crashes after leading deputies on pursuit
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla - Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after he led deputies on a two-county pursuit that ended in a crash.
Deputies attempted to arrest 19-year-old Damian Lopez, who was on probation for a previous armed robbery charge, at 18366 Glasser Avenue for a warrant for armed robbery.
When they arrived Lopez fled the area from the Lake Pickett area and led deputies on a pursuit along State Road 417.
Deputies say Lopez caused damage to neighboring properties, street signs and struck another car during the pursuit. No one was injured, however.
Deputies say he eventually crashed and drove through a fence just off of SR 417 at the Lake Mary Boulevard exit.
Sheriff's office says further charges are pending.
