Rocket launch lights up Florida skies
SpaceX lit up Florida skies with its successful launch of Starlink satellites into orbit by way of its Falcon 9 rocket Sunday evening. The launch was slated to happen Saturday night from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida, but unfavorable weather caused a pushback.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceX lit up Florida skies with its successful launch of Starlink satellites into orbit by way of its Falcon 9 rocket Sunday evening.
The launch was slated to happen Saturday night from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida, but unfavorable weather caused a pushback.
The rocket ultimately lifted off at 8:50 p.m. on Sunday.
This is the sixth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, and two Starlink missions.
