SpaceX launches Sirius XM satellite

The launch was picture-perfect early Sunday morning from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

If you were up late on Saturday night, you might have seen SpaceX's successful launch of a Sirius XM satellite.

The one-hour and 59-minute window for liftoff began at 12:26 a.m. ET from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. 

The satellite is the second one launched by SpaceX as part of an effort to replace the outdated ones that are currently in orbit.

The next SpaceX launch is scheduled for June 17th. A Falcon 9 rocket will carry a U.S. Space Force navigation satellite into space. The launch window will open at 6 p.m.
