A huge shrimp boat is still stuck on a Volusia County beach, but it could finally be on the move again as crews bring in extra tools to free it.

Coast Guard officials say that the barge to remove that stranded ship should be arriving sometime on Thursday morning. Once the barge arrives, Fox 35 has been told that the contractor and U.S. Coast Guard will assess how to safely remove the 77-foot boat without causing any damage to the environment.

However, the process of actually removing the ship could be very lengthy. The good news though is that the shrimp boat is made out of steel, so it won't break apart like a wooden ship.

Also, the area of Ormond Beach that the boat is in is relatively calm Fox 35 has been told. So, crews will not have to battle with rough surf while trying to remove it.

The shrimp boat out of Key West ran aground on Monday after it started taking on water.
