Shooting in Mims kills one, injures another

MIMS, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A shooting in Mims sent two people to the hospital on Sunday night. 

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office said that they are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on East Main Street in Mims on Sunday night. Shortly before 8 p.m., deputies received word of a shooting where at least one person was injured.

Upon arrival, deputies said that two males had been injured due to a disturbance in which at least two shots were fired. Both subjects were transported to a local hospital. One of the two has since passed away.

The Sheriff's Office did not release the names of any identities involved in this incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
