Seminole County school teacher arrested for creating and distributing child porn, deputies say

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - A Seminole County elementary school teacher has been arrested, accused of creating and distributing child pornography.

In an arrest affidavit released Friday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said that Audra Mabel, 34, teaches kindergarten at Spring Lake Elementary School in Altamonte Springs. According to deputies, Mabel is accused of filming sexual acts involving a child and sending them to her ex-boyfriend, 36-year-old Justin Ritchie. 

Deputies said that they talked with the mother of the child victim who said that the child's father, Ritchie, had abused her and had instructed the child to hold his cellphone and record the crime.

 When deputies arrested Ritchie outside his home, they searched his cellphone and found several videos showing him assaulting the victim as well as his one-year-old child.

Upon further investigation, deputies recovered around 10 videos on his cellphone showing Mabel engaged in sexual acts with her one-year-old son. 

Mabel reportedly also worked as a first grade teacher in Lansing, Michigan. She has been terminated by the Seminole County School district.
