Cocoa, FL. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Detectives with the Cocoa Police Department are searching for leads in a dead shooting that happened Sunday evening.
The victim is identified as Dimitric Bailey, 22. He died from a gunshot wound and was found inside a 4-door Infiniti vehicle.
At 8:39 p.m. Sunday, police dispatchers received a 911 call from a person reporting a man slumped over inside a vehicle. The caller stated the man appeared to be dead. When officers arrived they confirmed there was a deceased male inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and identifying potential suspects.
